Twice as many patients treated in Europe because of generic medicine
“Medicines for Europe” strongly supports the French government campaign to boost generic medicines. Thanks to generic medicines, in Europe twice as many patients in 7 key therapeutic areas [1] (diabetes, depression, epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, asthma/COPD, gastro-intestinal disease) have been able to be treated over the last ten years with no impact on overall treatment costs.
On the 30th September “Zdravi” joined again the global initiative PARK(ing) Day. Parts of the parking spaces in Sofia were transformed into public spaces for people. Everyone had the chance to take part in writing “Life is good when we are healthy” by taking a photo with a letter of their liking and participating in the game of the application. As host #Zdravi usually challenges its visitors to do something good for themselves – to work out there, to test their minds or to stay hydrated with water and tea.
SOPHARMA AD hereby informs that as a result of its intention to express interest in acquiring a commercial company operating on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, as a first step Sopharma AD filed a request for approval of concentration with the competent authorities in the Republic of Moldova.
For the first nine months of this year, revenues from sales decreased by 3% compared to the same period of 2015, including 1% increase of domestic sales and a 5% decrease of export sales. “We are witnessing a positive trend in September, but it is hard to forecast whether it will be stable. However, we managed to a certain extent to compensate the weaker performance of the Russian market in the first half of this year.”, comments Ognian Donev, PhD, Chariman of the Board of Directors and Executive director of Sopharma AD.
