A priority for healthcare in Spain is an increased access to generic and biosimilar medicines

The European Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (EGA), a member of which is the Bulgarian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (BGPharmA),and the Spanish Generic Medicines Association (AESEG) announced at a meeting in Madrid their engagement to increase Spanish patients' access to generic and biosimilar medicines, highlighting the importance of introducing measures that will increase access to high quality medicines and remove market barriers.

600 Children Take Over Factories, Laboratories and Business Spaces within the Initiative 'I Am Proud of the Work of My Parents'

On 02.11.2015 /Monday/, the national initiative of the Bulgarian business “I Am Proud of the Work of My Parents” aimed at the revival of labour as a value, will take place for third consecutive year in 21 companies, in 19 cities in the country. The idea is for the business to show the employees’ children, using specially developed programmes and games, why their parents’ labour is important. This year, the children will learn about 115 professions from more than 15 sectors of the economy.

Тhe management of Sopharma AD parts with the company’s Commercial Director

With the start of the financial year the management of Sopharma AD parts with the company’s Commercial Director. Vladimir Stoychev joined the team of Sopharma AD in September 2001 as a warehouse manager for export goods. Later he was transferred to the position of Head of Kazahstan office. His good work lead eventually to his promotion to Commercial Director of Sopharma AD in 2007. The management team of the company wishes Mr. Stoychev success in his new professional endavoures. The Executive Director of the company will temporarily be responsible for the export markets.

The European Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association adopted the disclosure requirements in its Code of Ethics

On 01.15.2016, the members of the European Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (EGA), whose member is also the Bulgarian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (BGPharmA) adopted unanimously the disclosure rules. These rules will constitute an important part of the Code of Ethics of EGA (EGA's Code of Conduct), which was adopted a year ago. The rules provide a framework for disclosing the support to patient organizations and health professionals, such as conducting meetings and educational seminars, as well as assistance for health organizations.
