European Communication Summit 2012

International Conference for Corporate Communication and Public Relations “European Communication Summit 2012”, organized yearly by the European Association of Communication Directors, was held in Brussels on the 5-th and 6-th of July 2012.

The participants from 43 countries - over than 600 professionals, witnessed the unique presentations of corporate leaders like Nick Adams, vice-president of Novo Nordisk – “Branding The World’s Most Sustainable Company”, Jon Iwata from IBM – “Business Strategies of the Future and the Role of the Communicator”, Marc Bolland – Chief Executive of Marc&Spencer, who won and the EACD annual prize for communication. Prof. Dr. Gerhard Roth, Director of the Brain Research Institute, University of Bremen, explained “Why is Communication So Difficult?”. This lecture was very interesting and may be helped everybody answer to yourself why according to the results from an empirical survey 84% have difficulties and lack of understanding of communication practice within top management.
