Government Delegation of Vietnam Visited Today the Largest Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Company Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam visited the production capacities of Sopharma, including the only plant for ampoules on the Balkan peninsula An official government delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited Sopharma on 03.09.2012 as a part of the program of the visit in Bulgaria.

Sopharma was selected as the largest Bulgarian pharmaceutical manufacturer that works entirely according to the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practice. Company’s manufacture of pharmaceuticals is regulated and in compliance with the European standards for pharmaceutical manufacture. Sopharma is also proprietor of the only plant, not only in Bulgaria but on the Balkans as well, for manufacture of ampoules for human medicine. The purpose of the visit of the government delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is to strengthen the relations between both countries, as well as the economic and cultural interrelations. Part of the delegation’s program is a visit to the largest hospital in the country, Sveti Georgi University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment, Plovdiv; presentation of a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, etc. According to the program, the official visit in Bulgaria is from the 1st to the 5th of September 2012. The delegation is lead by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Delegation members are also the Ambassador of Vietnam in Bulgaria, Mr. Le Duc Luu, Deputy Head of the Government Office, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Mr. Tran Quang Quy, Deputy Minister of Health Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai etc. The delegation of Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan is accompanied by Rectors and Deputy Rectors of Vietnamese Universities, representatives of state agencies and media. As a sign of hospitality by Sopharma AD, the commercial director Vladimir Stoichev presented the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister with a replica of the world famous Panagyurishte treasure.
