SVETI VLAS Award for TV Journalism – with the support of Sopharma

The presentation ceremony of SVETI VLAS award for TV journalism was held on 16 June 2012. The award was given for the first time in 2011 and came to be known as the Bulgarian television Pulitzer.

The big SVETI VLAS prize for journalism in 2012 was awarded to Emil Koshlukov for The Koshlukov Factor. Martn Karbovski won the audience award determined by sociological research of MBMD and announced by Mira Radeva. The young BNT investigative journalist Rosen Tsvetkov received a special debut award for his reports of vote-buying at elections, and the award was presented personally by Petko Bocharov. Rosen Tsvetkov donated the money value of the award for treatment of one of his colleagues, by which he demonstrated not only qualities of a socially-committed journalist, but of a man and friend committed to a cause.
